The Armenian-Russian International University, named after the largest Armenian jurist of the Middle Ages, the author of the Armenian Sudebnik Mkhitar Gosh, was founded in 1996 by the Licensing Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. By decision No. 72 of November 13, the university was granted license No. 107 for educational activities at the university and college level.
