The State Higher Educational Institution The ARM MoD Military Institute after V.Sargsyan is a higher educational institution functioning within the ARM MoD system. The mission of the Military Institute is to prepare and train skilled and highly – qualified officer personnel that will implement the issues of the ARM MoD at war and in peace. The Military Institute was established on the basis of RA Government Decision № 279 as of June 24, 1994. The head of the Military Institute is Lieutenant- General M.N. Karapetyan. 1. Bachelor’s Degree Course ( Primary Professional Education) Specialities: Management of Infantry, Artillery, Intelligence Service, Engineering or Tank Subdivisions. Qualification – Bachelor of Military Management. The course duration is 4 years. Supplementary Education – Yearly Officer Courses for Graduates from Civil Higher Educational Institutions Specialities: Management of Infantry or Artillery Subdivisions. Qualification – Bachelor of Military Management. The course duration is 1 year. 2. Master’s Degree Course Master’s Degree course is implemented as a Command And Staff Course. Graduates are awarded a Master’s Qualification of Military Management of Formations and Units. The course duration is 11 months.
