Established in 1945, SAFAA has always retained its long and proud tradition of seeking innovative knowledge over the years of its activities. For the last twenty years, we have been working with diligence to come up with a special offer in fine arts education in the region. In pursuit of efficient sharing of best International experiences, State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia succeeded in creating an environment promoting art education and developing creative thinking. Students at SAFAA experience the arts through special curricula. The core concepts of curricula evolve around thorough understanding of our rich historical and cultural heritage and its proper appreciation. We also believe that if our students are to participate in a truly diverse, global society, they must understand and appreciate their own historical and cultural heritage as well as those of others.
