Stavropol State Agrarian University, was founded in 1930. The university has 10 faculties, 41 departments, 83 innovative laboratories and centers, a Scientific library, the Institute of Additional Professional Education (IAPE), 5 dormitories, 2 sports complexes, a riding school, 3 greenhouses. The University has an experimental farm with a total area of 9420.6 hectares, equipped with modern agricultural machinery. The University offers 132 bachelor’s degree programs, 36 master’s degree programs and 5 postgraduate courses. Today, the university has 15,500 students, including 240 international students. 91.3% of employees have an academic degree, including 21.6% of doctors of sciences.
