Established on May 26, 1993, Surgut State University (SurSU) is the largest scientific and educational center in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra. The University defines its mission by opening up opportunities for professional self-realization of the individual in the processes at the regional and international levels.
