Tver State University was founded in 1917 At present it is the biggest university in Upper Volga Region, its student body is 8200 including 240 post-graduate students. The University includes 2 institutes, 12 departments and 68 sub-departments, where students obtain knowledge and skills practically in any sphere. In 2023 there will be full time students enrolled in 46 Bachelor and 6 Specialist fields of study, 46 Master degree and 21 Postgraduate programmers. The University has 20 scientific schools and 5 scientific councils. The average cost of studying at bachelor’s degree programs is 120,000 rubles per year. Students are resided in 8 dormitories.
