Yerevan Gladzor University (YGU) was founded in 1990, restoring and pursuing the traditions of the medieval university – GLADZOR. During its 33 years of activity, the managerial staff of the University, the faculty, and the administrative staff consistently and steadfastly implement an educational process that meets international standards. The scientific, academic and educational activity of YGU is aimed at the training of specialists in the field of social sciences in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, the development of the scientific-academic potential of the society and the state. On 25 July, 2001, Yerevan Gladzor University was accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia. In 2015, Gladzor was accredited in accordance with European standards and guidelines. In 2019, YGU participated in an institutional accreditation process, as a result, in 2021, YGU was re-accredited, being awarded an institutional accreditation by ANQA (National center for professional education quality assurance). Education at University is carried out in a three-level educational system: bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and postgraduate degree. YGU educates and prepares specialists in the following specialties:
